David founded Structural Focus in 2001 after 20 years at a previous firm. David is registered as a structural engineer in California, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada. His experience includes new structural design, seismic evaluation, historic preservation, and retrofit design. He has managed a variety of project types and sizes. Examples include large and small historic landmark building strengthening and repairs, new laboratory buildings, repair and retrofit of commercial buildings, large university building renovations, renovations and design of new studio production facilities, evaluations of large building inventories, and numerous university and school renovations, additions and strengthening.
